In the privacy of my home's salon with clean, private, protected booths (no cold metal tables with nooses), I will personally see your dog through the entire bathing and grooming process; and for a price that is affordable.

There are no cages. That means no other dogs (including yours) will be waiting; meaning, your dog will not be exposed to kennel cough, skin fungi, ticks, fleas or accidental injury.

One-on-one especially means your appointment time is set specifically for your dog! At no time is your dog unattended.

Note: Not all groomers are certified, as the State of Michigan does not require it. This is the main reason to choose Canine Makeovers! Personalized attention is always given, unlike most high-volume, dog-grooming shops. No sedatives or drugs are ever used.

Services are set by appointment only (no same day) and include the following:

• Thorough inspection/evaluation of your pet's general condition
• Pre-bath brushing
• Trim and manicure nails
• Remove hair from inside the ear canals
• Careful removal of crust from eyes
• Express anal glands, saving you a costly visit to the vet
• Temperature controlled, fresh-water bathing in an Edemco tub (unlike many high-volume shops and mobile services who use recycled water)
• All-natural, vet-recommended shampoo (Flea dip is extra)
• Hand blow-dry (no cage drying) thus avoiding burns
• Hand scissoring for that body shape and face that fits your dog's type and personality
• Cuts per your general directions
• Prompt delivery. No four to seven hour waits for your dog to get done like many high-volume salons
• Convenient hours include 5 days per week. Last appointment time accepted is 4:30pm. No Saturdays. Some Sundays by advance appointment only
